Manifesto
The Creativist Manifesto is founded on the simple premise that we have one fundamental choice - we can be a creativist or we can be a consumer. We can be active in creating our own identities - or we can passively accept the identity given to us by consumer society. And the choice we make affects our whole way of being in the world, and the impact that we have.
Whether we choose to create or consume is influenced by other choices we make:
- have vs be
- alone vs together
- fear vs faith
- certainty vs uncertainty
- movement vs stillness
- political vs personal
- questions vs answers
- decide vs choose
And these choices govern the work we do, the relationships we have, whether we use our gifts to their full potential - for our benefit, and that of the world around us.
Creativists believe that the world doesn’t have to be this way, and that together we can design the world we want. Starting right now.
